While all of our products are soy-free, our naturally free poultry feed line is both soy-free and corn-free. As soon as your chicks hatch, they will be hungry for feed that is formulated to provide them with the nutrients they need to grow strong and healthy. Our naturally free organic starter feed is a special blend of cracked organic grains, organic flax meal, wild caught fish meal and necessary vitamins and minerals. This feed provides baby chicks with enough protein to jumpstart their growth without adding unnecessary stress to their bodies. Plenty of vitamins and minerals provide chicks with the tools they need for healthy development. Naturally free organic starter contains no medication as we believe a healthy diet and a clean environment are the most important things for your birds' health. Many chicks that come from hatcheries have already received vaccines to help them survive the conditions of large scale farming practices. Practicing other healthy flock management methods can help your chicks throughout the first few months of life without the use of a medicated starter. Putting apple cider vinegar into their water is an excellent way to help ensure your little hens stay happy and healthy. Be sure to provide Cluckin' good chick grit from day 1 through 8 weeks of age before transitioning to the larger, grower grit.
