This glove uses aramid fibers, which are also used in aerospace and military applications, to form a barrier that prevents heat from entering the inner layer for ultimate protection. The mitt is heat-safe up to 475 deg F. The Pit Mitt® is reversible for left or right hand and has a soft cotton lining and silicone textured surface for superior grip.
