The great way to insert the 30-613 is to make sure the old insert is completely out of the weld cup. If there is a plastic ring inside the metal weld cup it is most likely the edge of the old glide. Put the insert on the floor. Place the metal weld cup over the part centering it in the cup. Push down on the chair with the leg going straight down onto the part. The sides of the insert have very fine ridges that will peal as the part fits tightly into the weld cup. If the metal weld cup is worn or rusted because the furniture was used without glides you may have to file the inner edge of the metal weld cup or replace the metal weld cup.
